To access media stored on other drives in your PC, external USB drives, or network (LAN) drives, you need to add these drives to your Orb media database as follows:
If you have installed 2.01 (To know the Orb version - click Orb tray icon > About):
1. Click the Orb tray icon on the Windows system tray of your Orb PC, then select Configuration
2. Select the Media tab, then click Add under the media type you want to add
3. Browse to your network folder, and click OK
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each media type you wish to add.
Note: you need to have the proper Windows permission (read, write, modify) and access rights to add a network folder to your Orb media.
If you have installed 2.5x or later :
1. Right click Orb tray icon on the Windows taskbar of your Orb PC, then select Control Panel
2. Select the Media Sources, then click "+" sign under the Simple / Advanced tab to add your required media folder from your PC or from the network path, and click OK
3. Repeat step 2 for each media type you wish to add.
Note: you can import media from iTunes by checking the "Use iTunes Library" checkbox at Advanced tab.
If you have installed 2.5x or later [MAC]:
1. Click Orb icon on the Menu bar of your Mac, then select Control Panel
2. Select the Media Sources, then click "+" sign under the Advanced tab to add your required media folder from your PC or from the network path, and click OK
