How do I start Orb when system starts?

Start Orb when system starts option allows Orb to automatically launch each time Windows starts. Remember that if Orb is not running on your home PC when you are away, you will not be able to launch Orb on your home PC and access your media from the Web interface (at mycast.orb.com). To remotely start Orb on your home PC, you will have to use some other third-party remote desktop program.

If you have installed 2.01 (To know the Orb version - click Orb tray icon > About)

To enable this option through Orb, Click Orb tray icon > Click Configuration > Select Advanced Tab > Check "Start Orb when Windows starts"> Click OK and you are done.

If you have installed 2.5x or later

To enable this option through Orb, Click Orb tray icon > Click Control Panel > Click General > Check "Start Orb when the system starts"> Click OK and you are done.

If you have installed 2.5x or later [MAC]

To enable this option through Orb, Click Orb icon on the menu bar > Click Control Panel > Click General > Check "Start Orb when the system starts"> Click OK and you are done.
