How can I stream my Wireless IP camera via Orb?

Most of these cameras can only be viewed either by using the proprietary software or by logging on to the manufacturer website with the credentials and most of the manufacturers do not make it easy for us to make them work.

Just try and discover the address of the streams using some tools like Wireshark, try and open the stream URL (e.g http://192.168.1.11/img/video.asf or http:///192.168.1.11/mjpeg.cgi) first in Windows Media Player or any other player to make sure it works and then try the following add it as an Internet webcam :

If you have installed 2.01 (To know the Orb version - click Orb tray icon > About)

Logon to http://mycast.orb.com > Open Application > Control Panel > TV/Webcams > Devices and then try again.

If you have installed 2.5x or later

On your Orb PC, via the Orb tray icon > Control Panel > Webcam, then click "+" sign and add your internet webcam name, URL and then try again.

If you have installed 2.5x or later [MAC]

On your Mac, via the Orb icon on the menu bar > Control Panel > Webcam, then click "+" sign and add your internet webcam name, URL and then try again.
