To change your Orb password, make sure your Orb PC is running and connected to Orb servers, then follow these steps:

On your Orb PC or any other PC, log on to your Orb account at mycast.orb.com, then navigate to Open Application > Control Panel > User Account (pulldown menu) > Password

Select the Click here to change your password link in the right panel to open the “Change user password” dialog box

Enter your Old password, and your New password twice in the spaces provided, then click Apply.

Changing a password when away from your PC

Your Orb password is stored both on Orb Network’s Web servers and on your Orb PC. So if you change your password on mycast.orb.com at a time when your Orb PC is not connected to Orb servers, Orb will update its own user database but will not be able to change this password on your PC. Therefore, the next time you start Orb on your PC, you will see an “Invalid Login or Password” pop-up message in your Orb tray icon: click this tray icon balloon to open the password update dialog box and enter your new password.
