How do I cancel my Orb account? |

If you no longer wish to use Orb, all you need to do is to uninstall Orb from your PC using the Add or Remove Programs feature of your Windows Control Panel. When you do so, make sure to check the Delete user settings checkbox before clicking the “Finish” button to delete your media database, as well as your Orb logs and other program files located in the “%AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\OrbNetworks” folder.
Removing Orb from your system ensures that your PC never connects to Orb servers. If you would like Orb Networks to delete from its user database your Orb login and password, and the name and email address you provided when you installed Orb (the only information from you Orb ever stores), send an email with “Delete Orb user: yourOrbLogin” (where yourOrbLogin is your actual Orb login) in the subject line to support@orb.com so we can delete this entry from our user database during our next scheduled database maintenance. Please note, however, that we will not email you a confirmation that we have done so. To verify that we have satisfied your request, please allow about a week and then try to log in again at http://mycast.orb.com: you should get an error message: “Invalid login or password”. |
