Sharing media on Mycast
More ways than ever to share your playlists
Sharing media
There are more ways than ever to share it. Each method of
sharing has its own format requirements - just select the
sharing method and Orb takes care of it for you.

 Be
sure to give your playlist a name so you can keep track of
it. Playlists can be changed or renamed at any time.
Public
Orb page allows your playlist to be accessed by anyone.
MySpace
or blogs formats your playlist for these popular sites.
Links
enables you to send your playlist in a number of standard
formats.
Private
sharing through email makes it easier than ever to share
your playlist with select people.
Via your Orb Public
Profile
As a registered Orb user, you will automatically get your
own public page on Orb.com.

Sharing your playlist on your public Orb page makes your
content available to any visitor - with no logins or
download!
Via Myspace or blogs
Express yourself better through YOUR music, photos or videos
on your Myspace, blog or other webpage.
Orb automatically generates the HTML you need to put your
playlist on the Web.

 Simply
copy and paste the HTML into your profile or blog and your
playlist is live for your friends to enjoy.
 You
can change the content of your playlist as often as you want
- only if you change the playlist name, you will need new
HTML.
 Click
OK when you're finished to push your playlist live.
 Remember
you need to keep your Orb PC "ON" and connected to internet
for others to enjoy your playlist
Share your playlist
via RSS, email, IM or SMS
The URL option enables you to copy and paste a public link
to your playlist into emails and instant messages that can
be forwarded from friend to friend.

The RSS option enables you to syndicate a feed to your
playlist

The SMS option enables you to send a text message to friends
with a link to enjoy your playlist (US only for now).

Share your playlist
with specific people
You can restrict access to you playlist to specific people
with this option. Only people you email directly will be
able to enjoy your playlist, and they will be asked to
create a free account to do so.

Address the invitation to enjoy your playlist and add a
personal message.
Email this playlist to option helps you to avoid sending
the same playlist over and over to someone just because you
forgot that you already shared it with them.
