Streaming media on Mycast

What is Mycast?

It is a Web UI (user interface) which allows you to access all your media through a series of linked web pages. You can access Mycast from anywhere and from any device with a browser!

Mycast Web UI gives you full control of your content:

Browse by folder as you would with a typical file explorer;
Browse your library using tags such as Genre/Artist/Albums for audio;
Create playlists;
Share your content with your friends;
Rate and tag your content for easy access to your favorites

How do I start?

Just point your Client PC browser to http://mycast.orb.com, enter Orb Login and password you created during Orb PC installation and click Login.

You can't log in because you forgot your password?

Click the "forgot your password" link in the login box: you will be prompted to provide your Orb Login. Orb will then send you a temporary password to the email address you gave when you first created your Orb account. So check your spam/junk filter to whitelist Orb Networks and Orb Support.

Add and customize a module

See all the available modules Clicking on Add Channels will open the list of all the modules.
Add a module Click on one of the modules listed and it will be added to your home.
Open the Panel Settings Click on the Panel Settings icon in the header to expand it.	Settings options: Rename a module Change the size of the thumbnails (this will only work in thumbnail mode). Enter a search query. Choose the way your content is displayed: Details view, Thumbnails view or Filmstrip view. How many items to display. And how to sort your content.

Add, delete or rename a tab

Tabs are useful to organize your content the way you want. You could have tabs with: all your media/ all your RSS feeds/ your documents and contacts...

	Add a tab Just click on New Tab to add one. You can rename tab by clicking on its title.
	Switch between tabs Clicking on a tab let's you switch between them.
	Rename a tab You can rename any tab by clicking or double clicking on the name and typing in your new choice.
	Delete a tab Any tab can be eliminated in its entirety by selecting the tab and clicking on the X delete icon. Be sure this is what you wish to do, because once deleted, it will be lost forever.

Play back options

	Play a single file You can play or view a file by clicking on it.
	Play multiple files You can play all the files in a module by clicking the play button in the header.
	Browse and play your entire library MyCast lets you browse, organize and share your content, create playlists and much more. Just click on the title of a module to expand it.
