You can easily customize the layout on Mycast like changing your default skin, Web interface, streaming formats, etc,

Streaming Format

Based on your requirement, you can choose any available streaming formats. Here you are only selecting the default streaming format for Orb and based on the selected streaming format, streams will play back in whatever media player you have associated with the chosen file type for your particular client PC.

Skin

You can choose a skin color (default blue or grey) for your Mycast Web UI or, if you do not want the AJAX interface because of performance issues and you do not care about the flexibility and features available only in AJAX, click Home Theater for a simpler (10 ft-like) UI or the Mobile Interface to get on your PC, the much lighter UI served to PDAs and phones.

Note: If you select any one of the two other interfaces for your client PC, to restore the AJAX interface you will need to clear your browser cache (in IE: Tools > Internet Options > Delete Cookies; in Firefox: Tools > Clear Private Data > Cache) and exit Mycast, then log in again.

You can also select various display settings for your media on Mycast:

Tooltips - adjust the tooltips setting if you want to speed up their display, and uncheck the box altogether if you no longer want them displayed.

Pagination - set the number of items (100 max) to be displayed for each view in the main Content panel for your Audio, Videos, Photos or Documents, as well as for your TV Program Guide.

Tweaks - Turn thumbnails on/off in Details view (note that the display of thumbnails always tends to slow down the loading of a Web page). Check the "Always log in to the last visited application". checkbox if you want to be taken back to where you were last, the next time you log in; leave this checkbox unchecked to always get to your Home page after log in.
