Based on the device, Orb determines the best: Format, Codec, Bit rate, Display capabilities and Network bandwidth. The media is securely streamed from your home PC/Orb PC to your Internet-enabled device.

Note: Home PC/Orb PC denotes the computer that has Orb software installed on it.

Stream Local TV Channels

 You should be able to stream, schedule and record TV shows via Mycast Web UI provided you have an Orb supported Tuner installed and configured on your home PC/Orb PC. You can access Live TV streams from virtually any of your Internet-connected devices.

With Orb's streaming technology, you can now watch your favorite shows whether you are at home or on the go, including sporting events, reality shows, and even your local news. You can also schedule and record your favorite TV shows and watch them whenever and wherever you want. 

Stream Audio

Access from Internet-connected Mobile Devices

You can use Orb on many types of mobile devices including various Internet-connected cell phones, PDAs and Laptops. Once Orb is installed on your home PC, Orb can recognize your remote device and quickly connect you to your home computer to access your media files.

When you connect from a mobile device or remote PC, Orb will automatically detect your connection speed and the upstream bandwidth available from your home PC. File Browser

This feature basically gives you access to all your files remotely just like Windows Explorer does when you are in front of your computer.

UPnP AV MediaServer

This feature basically turns your Orb PC into a Media Server. If you have a Game console (Xbox, PS3, or DMA), you need to enable this feature via Orb tray if you want to be able to stream the media on your PC to your TV screen. This feature will allow your game console to discover your Orb PC on the network and, therefore, give you direct access to your media folders.
 

Contact Manager

This feature will help you to access your email contacts (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Opera, Gmail) so you can share your media with friends and family by sending links to audio and video files on your PC via email (or SMS).
 

Mycast Web UI - One simple interface

Orb makes it easy to access your media with its user-friendly interface. Simply choose a service, see a list of your media and select your content of choice. Your media will then be streamed directly to you anywhere, anytime.

Streaming digital media: With Orb, your digital media is quickly streamed right to you. No more hassles with long download waits or files that are too big. Your content remains on your PC, providing you with the security and control you want.

On the Mycast Web UI, you will be able to access your home PC and view all of your media content, customize your settings, organize your content, change your password, etc. Your Mycast account is encrypted via SSL2-128bit and your Orb media is safe and secure until you reveal your Orb account with others.
